Kovi has been playing soccer and was captain for the Irvine Strikers since he was 9 years old. He was on the Cal South ODP State team, Regional Team, and U14 National Pool. From the age of 14, Kovi spent two years (2006-2008) playing soccer for the U17 team of the professional German Club, 1860 Munich. After being seen at the US Soccer Academy Showcase in North Carolina during the summer of 2008, Kovi was invited to become a member of the U19 team of Club Brugge, a professional club in Belgium. Kovi was also an Adidas ESP 2008 participant. Kovi is an extremely technical and quick attacking cenral midfielder with a great understanding of the game. |
